The original Bouncyband® was created in 2014 by Scott Ertl, a school counselor in North Carolina to help students have a way to move while seated in class so they wouldn't have to sit uncomfortably at their desks for 5-6 hours a day. We bought this for our autistic son who loves to use balls for a seat. In the past he's rolled off and hurt himself. This ball stays in place and he loves. Bounces and laughs. Theatwrial is thick and blows up nicely. The pump wasn't great so we manually blew it up. Worth the price! My son loves it so much.

I spent the first few months of the covid thing sitting in a regular desk chair at home and feeling pretty crappy while gaining weight at the same time. I decided I had to do something but being tied to my desk made it hard. I bought this ball about two weeks ago and OMG. I crank some music, sit on the ball and dance while working. I found that I am constantly moving around even when I do not think about it. I just might end up with actual abs by the end of this thing. My back feels really good too! Just be careful because my dogs tried to knock me off of it while I was on a conference call the other day. It was pretty funny...This ball is super sturdy and quite comfortable. The pump that came with it is... ummm... well, it works. I ended up using an air compressor. I was more interested in the ball anyway. It did not disappoint! I am 5'4" and bought the medium at first. It put me to low to type well on my keyboard. I got the large and it is perfect. I do not want to go back to the office because I cannot take my ball with me!!!

Arrived quickly. Inflated easily with the provided foot pump. I have never used a yoga ball seat, so did not know what to expect. It takes some getting used to, as the idea is to improve your posture and strengthen the low back muscles. I like the weighted bottom, as it doesn't fly off when you get up. I tend to not sit as long, because I can't slouch as I might on a "regular" chair, but that's not a bad thing. I've only used it for a bit over a week, and did not expect a miracle cessation of all my low back and associated leg aches and pains, but I feel like I've already improved a little. And, it's fun to bounce to good music!
